We are a "Drinking Club with a Running Problem" — known as the RDH3. We are an 18+ social group that loves to non-competitively run or walk and at the end of that, enjoy a cold beer for our outstanding efforts.
You don't need to be a great runner to attend a hashing event by any stretch of the imagination. We have many different levels of runners from fast to slow and our trails are set to try and keep the group together when possible. We also have a walking group that walks a trail at the same time and we all meet up at the end.
Ours runs are not always your normal typical runs and would have you in areas around the city you may or may not have ever treaded across. You could encounter hills, stairs, puddles, snow, mud, rivers, trees, alleys, streets or any terrain you could think of. Our runs can normally range from 3km to 7km and are held every Thursday at 7:00pm sharp at various locations each week.
A "Hare" would set a trail using flour or chalk to guide and/or mislead the runners using different markings until we reach the end of the run …the Hash Hold (where we get our beer). We will run / walk regardless of weather each week.
Come out and meet us we are a very fun loving social group who come from many different and diverse backgrounds. We love to meet new people and as a Virgin to the group your first run is free so what do you have to lose?
PS — Don't wear new shoes!!!
